Sovereign cloud · 100% hosted in France
Mon Écrin, the sovereign cloud for your memories.
A sovereign cloud is storage hosted in France, subject to French and European law, that does not depend on any foreign tech giant. Mon Écrin applies this principle to your photos, videos and documents.
Confidentiality and the protection of French law
Your files are stored exclusively on OVHcloud Object Storage infrastructure, in the Paris region. Mon Écrin is published by a French company and hosted by OVH SAS, a French company: your data falls under French law and the GDPR, outside the US Cloud Act. It is never analysed, resold or used for advertising.
Simplicity
Smartphone, tablet, computer: your photos, videos and documents are automatically backed up, and you find them easily from the app or your browser.
Freedom
Your files remain yours. Download your entire vault whenever you want (ZIP archive) and request an export of your data at any time. If you cancel, a grace period gives you time to get everything back.
Technical protection you can rely on
Encryption
Your files are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, and all transfers go through a secure HTTPS/TLS connection.
Private spaces
Your files are private by default, including within a family: each member only sees their own files.
