Once the Mon Écrin Android app is installed, every new photo or video taken on your smartphone is automatically backed up as soon as conditions are right (Wi-Fi preferred, battery preserved). Your phone's gallery albums can also be recreated in a few taps.
2. On your computer: your folders protected without changing your habits
The Mon Écrin desktop software (for Windows, macOS and Linux) watches over the folders you select. Drop in photos from a camera, an SD card or an old external drive: it uploads them in the background in original quality while avoiding duplicates.
3. One vault hosted in France, accessible everywhere
All your files come together in one place, encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and stored exclusively in France with OVHcloud (Paris region), under French law. And because you stay free, you can download your originals or export your entire vault as a ZIP archive whenever you want.
